Duties
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting surfaces, vacuuming carpets, and replenishing amenities to ensure a fresh and inviting atmosphere
- Perform detailed floor care tasks such as mopping, sweeping, and polishing to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the property
- Restock supplies like towels, toiletries, and linens to meet guest needs promptly and efficiently
- Maintain public areas by cleaning lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold the hotel’s pristine appearance
- Follow established safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to ensure prompt resolution
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations while delivering exceptional custodial service
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping within a hotel or hospitality setting is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including mopping, polishing, and carpet cleaning
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment and supplies to efficiently complete tasks
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and performing repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Prior custodial or housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required
