Salary: $65,000 – $75,000 per year
Overview
Habitat for Humanity of Long Island is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and mission-driven Executive Assistant to serve as the right hand to the CEO and help drive communication, accountability, and operational excellence across our growing nonprofit organization. We are looking for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, anticipates needs before they arise, enjoys solving problems, and can effectively coordinate with multiple departments while maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and attention to detail.
What You’ll Do
· Manage the CEO's calendar, appointments, meetings, and email correspondence
· Prepare meeting agendas, reports, presentations, and supporting materials
· Attend meetings and take minutes
· Monitor project timelines and track action items with staff to ensure timely completion of assignments and projects
· Help oversee day-to-day office operations and administrative functions
· Coordinate facility-related needs and office logistics
· Assist in implementing systems and processes that improve organizational effectiveness
Qualifications
· 5+ years of experience as an Executive Assistant, Office Manager, or similar role
· Exceptional organizational and time management skills
· Strong written and verbal communication abilities
· Ability to prioritize multiple projects
· Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Professional demeanor and excellent judgment
· Experience supporting senior executives
Technical Skills Required
· Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
· Experience with Dropbox or similar cloud-based document management systems
· Experience using Monday.com or comparable project management software
· Comfortable learning and utilizing new technology platforms
· Strong calendar management and email management skills

Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday
