Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of procedures, including general dentistry, prosthodontics, endodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, organizing supplies, and ensuring equipment is working properly. Take dental X-rays while following all safety guidelines and HIPAA regulations. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records using systems such as Eaglesoft and DTX. Provide chairside support during procedures by passing instruments, monitoring patients, and helping patients feel comfortable throughout their visit. Follow infection control and sterilization protocols to maintain a safe and clean environment. Support front office duties as needed, including scheduling appointments.
Requirements
A minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience is strongly preferred. Proficiency with dental software platforms such as Eaglesoft and DTX Studio is required to manage patient records efficiently and accurately. Candidates should have knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, medical terminology, and infection control practices to support safe and effective patient care. The ability to take dental X-rays accurately while following all radiation safety guidelines is essential. Experience or familiarity with specialties such as prosthodontics and endodontics is a plus and will help support a variety of procedures. Strong communication skills and a positive, professional attitude are important in creating a welcoming experience for patients of all ages.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
