At Valley Presbyterian Hospital, our Supply Chain team plays a critical role in ensuring clinicians have the supplies they need to deliver exceptional patient care. We’re seeking a detail-oriented Distribution Clerk to support inventory management, stock replenishment, and supply distribution across clinical units.
What You’ll Do
- Deliver and stock supplies to clinical units based on established par levels
- Operate inventory systems to process receipts, issues, and charge entries
- Monitor and maintain inventory accuracy, ensuring optimal stock levels
- Place and track supply orders, including expediting as needed
- Reconcile patient charges and support accounting functions
- Generate and maintain daily, monthly, and inventory reports
- Support inventory audits, excess stock analysis, and supply tracking
- Maintain high fill rates and efficient inventory turnover
- Collaborate with clinical teams to meet supply needs and resolve issues
- Maintain organized stock areas and ensure supply availability
What You Bring
- 2+ years of experience in materials management, purchasing, or supply chain
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to problem-solve and manage inventory challenges proactively
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain LA City Fire Card within 30 days
