Canduct Industries is a leading manufacturer in electrical insulation, primarily used for cooling for oil cooled transformers. We are looking for a Customer Production Coordinator in Boardman, OH!
Seeking a technically minded Customer Service Representative who can serve as a primary point of contact for our customers. Our customers provide drawings, specifications, purchase orders, and technical requirements. You will need to be comfortable working with dimensions, measurements, materials, part specifications, and engineering/manufacturing drawings and be able to ask the right questions when something doesn't make sense.
You don't need to be an engineer. However, you must be comfortable in a technical manufacturing environment and have the ability to learn and understand technical information.
This position will be 100% on site at our facility in Boardman, OH and work the Day shift from 8:00AM to 4:30PM Monday to Friday.

Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned manufacturing customers.

Review customer purchase orders, drawings, specifications, and other technical information.
-
Interpret basic engineering/manufacturing drawings, dimensions, tolerances, and specifications.

Work with customers to clarify requirements and resolve questions before an order moves into production.

Translate customer requirements into clear information for Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and other internal teams.

Coordinate customer orders from initial request through production and shipment.

Identify potential issues with an order and work with the appropriate internal team to resolve them.

Communicate changes, lead times, production status, and other information to customers.

Build strong relationships with customers while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Use ERP and other systems to enter, track, and maintain customer orders and information.

Work collaboratively with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, and Shipping to ensure customer requirements are understood and met.
We're looking for someone who is technically curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with manufacturing information.
The ideal candidate will have:

2+ years of experience in manufacturing, technical customer service, inside sales, estimating, production coordination, engineering support, drafting, purchasing, or a similar technical environment.

Experience reading or working with engineering, fabrication, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing drawings.

The ability to understand and communicate dimensions, measurements, materials, quantities, and specifications.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to catch discrepancies before they become production problems.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

The ability to communicate professionally with both customers and internal manufacturing teams.

Strong organizational and follow-through skills.

Comfort learning technical products, processes, and terminology.

Experience working with an ERP system is a plus.

Diploma in Engineering or business related fields are an asset.

Highschool Diploma or equivalent is required.

The ability to read blueprints is an asset.

Production knowledge and computer savvy.

Intermediate to Advance Microsoft Excel & Word skills.
