Now Hiring: Property Management Maintenance Technician
Location: Camden, NJ
Schedule: Full-time
Compensation: $20/hour
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to assist with general maintenance and renovation tasks at a residential apartment community located in Camden, NJ. This position requires the ability to complete tasks in a timely, professional, and courteous manner. (possible live on position)
Physical Requirements
This position involves physical labor, including but not limited to:
- Frequent bending, stooping, standing, reaching, climbing, kneeling, and crawling
- Use of hand tools, parts, and materials
- Lifting and moving appliances with a hand truck
- Performing various essential maintenance duties
Primary Responsibilities
- Complete all service requests and repairs efficiently and thoroughly
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
- Monitor inventory levels for tools, equipment, parts, and supplies
- Comply with company personnel policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively with residents, team members, vendors, and supervisors
- Inspect grounds, buildings, and community areas to maintain safety and appearance
- Maintain curb appeal, including daily trash pick-up
- Keep accurate maintenance records
- Perform general maintenance tasks as directed by the Property Manager or Owner
- Snow removal during inclement weather
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Technical Skills – Must Be Able to Diagnose and Assist With:
- Basic to intermediate plumbing repairs
- Basic to intermediate electrical work
- Drywall installation, repair, and finishing
- General carpentry
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Own basic hand tools
- 3-5 years of previous maintenance experience required
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Experience:
- Residential Building Maintenance: 3 years (Required)
