Responsibilities
- Greet all visitors, customers, and staff warmly upon arrival, establishing a friendly and professional atmosphere
- Verify identification and check credentials to ensure authorized access
- Monitor entry points using CCTV systems to observe activity and detect suspicious behavior
- Conduct basic security screenings or searches in compliance with legal standards such as search and seizure laws
- Maintain awareness of surroundings through surveillance techniques, including CCTV monitoring and physical patrols
- Respond promptly to any security concerns or conflicts, utilizing conflict management skills to de-escalate situations
- Document incidents or irregular activities accurately through detailed report writing
- Collaborate with security personnel or law enforcement when necessary to investigate potential threats or criminal activity
Experience
- Prior experience in security, retail security investigation, or law enforcement is highly desirable
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV operation and monitoring techniques
- Familiarity with criminal investigation procedures and criminal law principles
- Training in interrogation techniques and conflict management strategies
- Experience in loss prevention, security protocol enforcement, or related fields is a plus
- Strong understanding of search and seizure laws relevant to security operations
- Excellent communication skills for report writing and interacting effectively with diverse individuals

Pay: $22.13 - $26.65 per hour
