Sports Kidz AZ is a Christian-based youth athletics non-profit organization. We provide athletics programs to homeschool students and charter schools throughout the Phoenix Metropolitan area. Our programs focus on basketball, soccer, flag football, and PE games between 9am-5pm daily, depending upon the scheduled programs and groups.
Our goal is to provide exceptional programming. We train students in the fundamentals of each sport and team play, while focusing on character development.
This position is a great supplemental income opportunity, and an optimal working opportunity for college students.
Current Need:
Sports Kidz AZ is looking for a coach in Phoenix (Fridays 2:30pm-4:30pm) throughout the 2026-2027 school year. Plus, participation in quarterly full day Saturday competitions.
*Additional driving compensation is considered in pay structure*
This is a part-time position for an assistant coach to work with students in groups of up to 20 students.
Previous coaching experience or working with children is desired.
Expectations:
Candidates must pass a background check and obtain level one fingerprint clearance upon being hired. We also prefer that coaches obtain First Aid & CPR certification, which will result in increased starting pay. Candidates must be hardworking, patient, and have a desire to impact the next generation. Candidates must have reliable transportation to assigned classes and be dedicated to their work assignments.
Candidates should be team oriented, self-motivated, and able to follow directions given by team leads. This opportunity is for anyone 18+ years old.
Pay Structure:
- Part-time (2 hours per week)
- Starting $16.50 per hour + driving compensation ($16.75 if CPR certified)
- Increase in pay available, based upon performance.
