Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Electrician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across various commercial and industrial settings. Duties
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial environments, ensuring adherence to NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) standards.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to accurately execute electrical installations and repairs.
- Perform electrical diagnostics using tools such as ohmmeters and multimeters to identify faults within complex electrical systems.
- Conduct high-voltage electrical wiring tasks safely on industrial sites while following strict electrical safety procedures.
- Install and maintain programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, and industrial electrical components for automation processes.
- Use power tools and hand tools efficiently for wiring, conduit bending, mounting fixtures, and other installation tasks on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Ensure all work complies with local electrical codes and regulations while maintaining a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
Experience
- Proven experience as an electrician in industrial or commercial settings with a strong understanding of industrial electrical systems and commercial electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to read electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings accurately.
- Hands-on experience with NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code) compliance requirements is essential.
- Skilled in troubleshooting complex electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and circuit testers.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects involving electrical wiring, low voltage systems, or high-voltage installations.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), industrial automation equipment, and control systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with local electrical codes and safety procedures related to high-voltage wiring and industrial electrical work.
- Strong problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments such as construction or renovation projects.
