Transport Associate
Type: Full-Time
Compensation: $18.00 Per Hour
Schedule: Variable 8-hour workdays from Monday-Friday, and 1-2 Saturdays per month
Start/End Times: Typically start at 7:30 AM to 2:00-6:00 PM (Start/End depend on daily deliveries)
Overview: Nova Farms is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Transport Associate to facilitate the safe and efficient transportation of cannabis products across multiple locations within NJ. This role is responsible for picking up and delivering products from vendors, transferring Nova Farms’ products between sites, and ensuring all transport activities comply with company policies and state regulations. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling high-value products, navigating various road conditions, and adhering to strict security protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Safely transport cannabis products between vendors and Nova Farms locations.
- Adhere to all company policies, state regulations, and security procedures.
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Assist site operations teams as needed to maintain workflow and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate delivery records and ensure all manifests are properly completed.
- Handle deliveries with professionalism, discretion, and a customer service mindset.
- Adapt to changing schedules and drive in challenging weather conditions while remaining calm and focused.
Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean driving record (MVR check required).
- Must pass a State Cannabis Control Commission background check.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks as needed.
- 2+ years of driving, transportation, or courier experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and ability to work independently.
