American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a Labor & Delivery position working night shifts at a hospital in Statesboro, GA, requiring 2+ years of L&D experience and at least 2 completed travel assignments in the specialty.

Work in a Labor & Delivery unit within a Women's Pavilion, featuring 8 LDRs and 5 triage beds
-
Night shift schedule: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
-
Every other weekend (EOW) rotation required
-
On-call required: 2 x 12-hour call shifts per every 6 weeks, with at least one being a weekend shift
-
Patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2 per AWHONN Staffing Standards

Floating required between departments within the Women's Pavilion
-
EMR: CPN (GE) and Cerner (Cerner experience preferred)
-
13-week contract
-
Active GA RN license or Compact RN license required
-
Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and NRP
-
Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date

Minimum 2 years of recent L&D experience required

Minimum 2 previously completed travel assignments in L&D required

Must be able to pass an EKG

CPN (GE) experience preferred
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities include monitoring and assisting laboring patients, communicating with providers, circulating in the OR for cesarean sections (preferred), attending deliveries to support newborn resuscitation, recovering vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and providing antepartum care within L&D

Scrub color: navy blue

RTO requests must be less than one week, with no maximum RTO as long as weekend shift requirements are met

Block scheduling may be accommodated provided weekend shift requirements are met

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Candidates who have worked at any CHS facility as permanent staff within the past 2 years will not be considered
