Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient warehouse operations, ensuring accurate inventory control, and supporting the overall logistics process. This position requires a strong focus on safety, quality, and teamwork.
Duties
- Perform inventory control tasks to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, utilizing equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, and pallet jacks.
- Fulfill orders accurately by picking items from the warehouse using order fulfillment processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with safety regulations.
- Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory and manage stock levels effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Assist in loading and unloading shipments, ensuring proper handling of goods.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a warehouse environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory control processes and materials handling techniques.
- Proficient in using warehouse management software is a plus.
- Experience operating forklifts, cherry pickers, and order pickers is highly desirable.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
- Good physical stamina to lift heavy items and stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift 50 Lbs. continuously.
- Must be able to lift 80 Lbs..
