Job Summary:
The escort is primarily responsible to perform work such as escorting uncleared individuals into designated buildings and property, protecting equipment and material, and controlling access to installations by employees and visitors.
Pay Rate: $31.09 per hour
Shift: This position will be on-call, day shift typically between 7:00am - 5:00pm.
Essential Job Functions:

Escorts subcontractors, new employees, and visitors according to govt agency policies.

Shall notify the contract Project Manager and the Safety staff immediately of unsafe working conditions.

Ensures proper housekeeping practices are strictly adhered to.

Keeps supervisor apprised of unique situations and problems encountered.

Communicates/updates supervisor on progress of jobs being performed.

Meets safety performance standards and completing all work safely.

Ability to work overtime as needed afterhours or on weekends.

Knowledge of general safety and security standards.
- Ability to act quickly and calmly in an emergency.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills, Experience, and Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent
-
Valid driver’s license and good driving record

Current and Active Top Secret Security Clearance

Knowledge of various building trades

Previous experience working in a commercial maintenance environment

Maintains basic practical knowledge of several maintenance trades to perform most of the duties.
- Ability to complete all mandated training requirements per government and management directives.

Timely completion and accuracy of all departmental work.

Ability to effectively and professionally communicate with a wide variety of individuals including coworkers, government personnel, and subcontractor employees.

Adherence to established company safety policies and good industrial and office safety practices.

Compliance with company Standard Operating Procedures and Personnel policies and procedures.

Ability to work well under pressure.

Ability to work independently or as a member of a team
