American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a day shift Neuro ICU/SICU travel position in Albany, NY, requiring a minimum of 2 years of ICU experience and active Epic EMR proficiency.

Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Surgical and Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit (Neuro ICU/SICU)

Epic EMR is used and experience is required

Active NY RN license required at time of consideration

Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in the applicable specialty required

BLS and all certifications must be issued by AHA or RQI
-
Epic EMR experience is required — candidates without Epic experience will not be considered

Active US Social Security Number required — Canadian SINs are not accepted
-
No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
-
Flu vaccine required; only medical exemptions signed by a licensed professional are accepted — personal and religious exemptions are not honored by the facility

Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility and outside of the following counties: Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington

ICU applicants must complete and pass a competency test with up to 2 attempts

No blocked scheduling is permitted

More than 3 call-outs in a 13-week period may result in contract termination; make-up shifts must be completed within 6 weeks of the last call-out

Any requested time off (RTO) must be disclosed at the time of submission

Travel pairs are not permitted for this position
