Reports to the Manufacturing Team Lead
Shift: M-TH, 3p- 1:30a
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC and manual machining equipment to meet production requirements (i.e. DMG Mori, VF2 Haas, Kunzmann, GF, DMG Mori lathe NLX2500)
- Interpret blueprints, metric drawings, and work orders to execute machining operations accurately
- Select and install cutting tools, fixtures, and workholding to optimize machining performance
- Perform offsets, tool changes, and in-process adjustments to maintain tight tolerances
- Monitor machine operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and product quality
- Inspect components using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, bore gauges, and height gauges
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend improvements to tooling, processes, or workflow
- Follow standard work procedures, quality guidelines, and 5S practices
- Cross-train and support other machines or value streams as needed
- Contribute to a positive team environment and support company values and strategic goals
- High school diploma or GED required
- 3+ years of CNC machining experience (3-axis required)
- Experience operating manual machines including mills, lathes, or grinders
- Ability to read and interpret metric drawings and engineering blueprints
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
- High attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality parts
- Adaptability in a changing production environment and ability to multitask
- Ability to stand or walk for at least 8 hours per shift and lift up to 50 lbs
