American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry position in Boston, MA, requiring prior travel experience and strong independent telemetry interpretation skills.

Acute Medical Surgical unit (Menino 6 East) in a hospital setting

36-bed unit with a patient ratio of generally 1:4 or 1:5
-
PM/Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week

Every other weekend required

Every other holiday required

Epic EMR experience preferred

13-week contract

Active MA RN license required
-
Current BLS certification required

Minimum 2+ years of acute care Med/Surg experience required

Prior travel/agency nursing experience required

Must be able to independently read and interpret telemetry rhythm strips

Must pass a telemetry test on Day 1 with a score of 85% or better

Two professional references required: at least one must be at the manager level or above (listed as "Manager") and include a performance evaluation; one reference must be within the last 12 months and the other within the last 3 years; references from other travelers are not accepted

Valid driver's license required for consideration

Candidates must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B) prior to submission — the test may only be taken twice
