Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems. This position is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical and electrical background who enjoys diagnosing complex equipment issues and minimizing production downtime in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on production machinery.
- Diagnose equipment failures and respond to production downtime.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, sensors, motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, and control panels.
- Install, modify, and commission manufacturing equipment.
- Perform welding and light fabrication as needed.
- Document maintenance activities using a CMMS.
- Support continuous improvement and root cause analysis initiatives.
- Maintain safe work practices, including Lockout/Tagout procedures.
- Assist with equipment upgrades and mentor junior maintenance technicians.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Experience working with industrial machinery and automated production equipment.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with preventative maintenance programs and CMMS systems.
- Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout and industrial safety practices.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience
- PLC, HMI, VFD, and industrial automation troubleshooting.
- Hydraulics, pneumatics, welding, machining, or fabrication.
- Electrical or skilled trades certification.
- Experience in high-volume automated manufacturing.
- Lean Manufacturing, 5S, or TPM experience.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
