Position Overview
We are seeking a hardworking, friendly Retail Consignment Associate with prior retail and merchandising experience. This role involves assisting consignors with drop-offs, helping customers make purchases, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and supporting daily store operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers with purchases and provide excellent customer service
- Help consignors during item drop-offs and explain the consignment process
- Use brand knowledge to identify, organize, and price inventory appropriately
- Maintain strong visual merchandising throughout the store
- Organize racks, shelves, and displays to keep the sales floor clean and appealing
- Assist with inventory processing, tagging, and restocking
- Support social media efforts (photos, posts, stories, etc.)
- Operate POS system and handle transactions accurately
- Multitask efficiently in a fast-paced retail environment
- Lift, move, and organize inventory weighing up to 50 lbs
Required Qualifications
- Retail experience required
- Merchandising experience required
- Strong brand knowledge in clothing, accessories, and footwear
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Friendly, professional, and dependable
- Ability to multitask and stay organized
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs regularly
