The Role
Door Pro America installs garage doors for residential builders, and we need someone to keep the administrative side of those projects running smoothly — entering orders, managing schedules, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks between purchasing, the warehouse, and the install crews.
This is an administrative and scheduling role, not a management role. You'll report to a Branch Manager and work alongside Purchasing, Warehouse, Sales, and Installers — but you won't be supervising anyone or managing accounts directly. If you're the kind of person who likes checking things off a list, keeping a calendar tight, and catching a scheduling conflict before it becomes a problem, this is a great fit.
What You'll Do Day-to-Day
- Enter and double-check purchase orders in Acumatica
- Build and maintain install schedules, coordinating dates with our Operations team
- Update schedules when timelines shift and communicate the changes to the right people
- Flag material shortages or scheduling conflicts before they cause delays
- Keep customer files and documentation complete and accurate
What We're Looking For
The sweet spot: 2–4 years of experience in customer service, order entry, dispatch, scheduling, or project coordination. Construction, home services, or builder-facing experience is a plus, but not required — we'll teach you the industry side.
You should be:
- Comfortable in Microsoft Office and picking up new software quickly (we use Acumatica)
- Organized enough to juggle multiple schedules and orders at once without losing track of details
- A clear, professional communicator — on the phone, in email, and in person
- Someone who stays calm when a schedule changes last-minute
This role isn't a fit if: you're looking for a senior/management-track position with direct reports, or if you have no prior experience with any kind of order entry, scheduling, or customer-facing coordination work — the pace and ambiguity will be tough without that base.
