**Job Overview:**
As an Automotive Technician at Maita Toyota, you will play a crucial role in providing top-notch vehicle maintenance services to our valued customers. You will utilize your expertise in automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance, and mechanical knowledge to ensure the optimal performance of various vehicles.
**Duties:**
- Vehicle Diagnostics and Repairs: Use specialized diagnostic tools to identify and repair issues in various vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Routine Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks like oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and replacement of filters, ensuring vehicles run smoothly and efficiently.
- Customer Communication: Work with service advisors to explain repair needs, maintenance requirements, and estimated costs to customers, ensuring a positive service experience.
- Warranty and Recall Work: Conduct repairs or replace parts under Toyota’s warranty programs and address manufacturer recalls in line with Toyota’s guidelines.
- Quality Control and Testing: After repairs, perform test drives and final inspections to ensure all work is completed to Toyota's standards and the vehicle is ready for customer pickup.
**Qualifications:**
- ASE Certifications (specifically A1 - A8) are required. Maita Toyota requires and pays for certifications as a factor in continued employment and progression
- 2 years experience as a flat-rate Automotive Technician
- Proficiency in using hand tools and equipment related to automotive repairs
-Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical concerns efficiently
- Knowledge of vehicle powertrain systems and transmission mechanisms
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues efficiently
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
