The company is looking to hire a Jewelry Production Associate.
# Position Overview
We're seeking a detail-oriented Production Associate to join our jewelry manufacturing team. This role involves working directly with jewelry while ensuring quality craftsmanship in all stages of jewelry production.
# Key Responsibilities
- Input and maintain accurate production data
- Perform basic visual quality checks on jewelry throughout the production process, identifying obvious defects, missing stones, workmanship issues, or discrepancies from production specifications and escalating concerns as needed.
- Track the movement of materials through various production stages using inventory management software
- Generate and process work orders for jewelry production
- Update and maintain digital records of diamond certificates and authentication documents
- Create and manage production schedules using scheduling software
- Document quality control results and maintain digital inspection records
- Generate daily, weekly, and monthly production reports
- Maintain digital archives of design specifications and production methods
- Update and manage customer order status in the system
## Required Qualifications
- Prior experience working with jewelry, including the ability to perform basic visual inspection of finished and in-process jewelry for quality, craftsmanship, and adherence to specifications.
- Familiarity with common jewelry components, settings, and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with inventory management software
- Strong data entry skills with high accuracy
- Ability to learn specialized jewelry tracking software
- Understanding of production workflow tracking
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills
- High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
