We are seeking an experienced, motivated, and organized Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy multi-specialty dental practice. Our office provides comprehensive care through multiple specialties, and we're looking for a leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, values teamwork, and is committed to delivering an outstanding patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the dental practice
- Lead, coach, and develop front office and clinical support staff
- Manage scheduling to maximize provider productivity and patient satisfaction
- Monitor office performance, production, collections, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure exceptional customer service from the first phone call through treatment completion
- Coordinate with specialists and providers to maintain efficient patient flow
- Handle patient concerns professionally and effectively
- Oversee insurance verification, treatment plan presentation, billing, and collections
- Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, and all state and federal regulations
- Recruit, onboard, and train new team members
- Conduct team meetings, performance evaluations, and ongoing staff coaching
- Maintain systems and processes that improve efficiency and support practice growth
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of dental office management experience (multi-specialty experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of dental insurance, treatment planning, billing, and collections
- Experience managing teams and fostering a positive workplace culture
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with dental practice management software (Open Dental, or similar)
- Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail
- Positive attitude with a patient-first mindset
