Duties
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care.
- Operate POS system
- Engage with customers warmly, taking orders, answering questions, and providing personalized recommendations.
- Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards by handling food and beverages responsibly and following proper procedures.
- Manage cash handling duties, including cash register operations, balancing cash drawers, and processing payments.
- Assist in food preparation and food service tasks to support overall café operations.
- Use time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods, ensuring timely service and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or coffee industry background is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with POS system
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
- Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and basic math for retail math calculations.
- Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in serving, cashiering, or retail math enhances your fit for this role.
