Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant as well as a Medical Receptionist to join our outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent patient service abilities, outstanding customer service and proficiency in medical administrative support. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to patient care excellence while managing front-office operations efficiently.
Duties
- Perform clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, documenting medical histories, and assisting with procedures in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient settings.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems), preferably Athena EMR System, including documentation of medical records.
- Conduct patient intake processes, verify insurance information, and schedule appointments with professionalism and efficiency.
- Excellent Customer Service Skills.
- Strong Team Player with strong work ethic.
- Assist with medical office management tasks such as inventory control, appointment scheduling, and coordinating with healthcare providers.
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program; previous experience in dermatology, hospital medicine, urgent care, or outpatient clinics is highly desirable.
- Proven proficiency in medical office management systems (EMR/EHR), medical documentation, and medical terminology.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient care and service excellence.
- Ability to work effectively in fast-paced healthcare settings such as trauma centers or emergency medicine environments.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
