Duties
- Perform a variety of massage techniques including deep tissue massage, trigger point therapy, and relaxation massage tailored to individual client needs
- Conduct thorough patient assessments to understand their health concerns, preferences, and treatment goals
- Apply knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology to develop effective treatment plans
- Educate clients on self-care practices, occupational health tips, and pain management strategies
- Ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for all clients by adhering to sanitation standards and clinic protocols
- Provide excellent customer service by listening actively, addressing client questions, and fostering a positive experience
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Massage Therapist with current certification
- Proven experience in patient service, patient assessment, and delivering various massage techniques such as deep tissue and trigger point therapy
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to massage therapy
- Prior experience working in a med spa or occupational health setting is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate clients effectively
- Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-oriented attitude
