Requirements
- Active New York CNA License
- Current BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience in long-term care or skilled nursing
- Ability to float between units within the same building
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- 13 weeks contract
- Local candidates are welcome (local pay rates apply for those residing within 75 miles of the facility).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and ambulation.
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team.
- Obtain and document vital signs accurately.
- Assist with transfers, repositioning, and mobility while maintaining patient safety.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and therapeutic environment.
- Document patient care using PointClickCare (EMR).
- Float to all units within the facility as needed.
- Follow infection control, safety, and HIPAA guidelines.
