Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current SLP license valid in Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required
- Previous experience with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students, both individually and in groups
- Conduct thorough assessments and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, staff, and caregivers to integrate therapy goals into daily classroom routines
- Participate in meetings, training sessions, and parent conferences as needed
- Offer support and guidance to families regarding strategies for continued progress at home
