Job Title: Ambulance Emergency Medical Technician (EMT)
Shift: PRN
Base Pay: Starts at $17.65 per hour, with higher pay based on experience.
On-Call: Must be available to respond to 9-1-1 calls when paged; paid $2.00 per hour while on call.
Call-Back Pay: Time and a half when called in, with a minimum of one hour of pay.
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Ambulance Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our team. This position is responsible for delivering high-quality emergency medical care and ensuring the safe transport of patients. The EMT will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide efficient, patient-centered care in emergency situations.

Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide appropriate pre-hospital medical care

Assess patient conditions and determine necessary treatment within scope of practice

Administer medications and perform approved medical procedures

Safely transport patients to medical facilities for further evaluation and treatment

Communicate effectively with receiving facilities and healthcare personnel to ensure continuity of care

Accurately document patient care and maintain thorough medical records

Ensure ambulance, equipment, and medical supplies are clean, stocked, and in proper working condition

Previous experience as an Ambulance EMT

Advanced EMT certification

Familiarity with local EMS protocols and procedures

Completion of an accredited Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) training program

Current and valid EMT certification

Current CPR certification

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to perform effectively in high-pressure, fast-paced environments

Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
