This is an ARMED security position. A VALID FLORIDA CLASS G SECURITY LICENSE IS REQUIRED for this role.
Applicants without an active Class G license will not be considered.
About the Position
SecurTec is seeking professional, dependable ARMED Security Officers to provide coverage at a residential community. This role requires a strong security presence, excellent judgment, and the ability to interact professionally with residents, guests, and management.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide armed security coverage for a residential community
- Conduct patrols of the property and monitor access points
- Enforce community rules and security protocols
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies appropriately
- Observe, document, and report suspicious activity
- Complete daily activity and incident reports
- Maintain a visible, professional, and approachable presence
REQUIREMENTS (MANDATORY)
- ACTIVE Florida Class G Armed Security License – REQUIRED
- Active Florida Class D Security License – REQUIRED
- Prior armed security experience preferred
- Strong situational awareness and decision-making skills
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work flexible shifts as needed

Preferred Qualifications
- Residential or community security experience
- Military or law enforcement background
- CPR / First Aid / AED certification
