Overview
The Assistant General Manager plays a crucial role in supporting the overall operations of the business. This position is responsible for assisting the General Manager in managing daily activities, ensuring high standards of customer service, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
- Assist in overseeing daily operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Supervise staff, providing guidance and support to enhance performance.
- Manage cash handling procedures, including cash register operations and POS systems.
- Conduct employee orientation and training programs to ensure all team members are equipped with necessary skills.
- Implement shift management strategies to optimize workforce productivity.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in purchasing decisions as needed.
- Maintain high standards of customer service, resolving any issues that arise promptly.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Skills
- Proficient in cash handling and operating cash registers.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Experience with POS systems and financial transactions.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills, ensuring efficient workflow throughout shifts.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38 – 45 per week
