Duties
- Assist the Director of Nursing in developing and implementing strategic plans to enhance patient care quality and operational efficiency
- Oversee staffing schedules, personnel management, and staff supervision to ensure optimal team performance
- Manage departmental budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure resource allocation aligns with organizational goals
- Ensure compliance with state-specific education laws, healthcare regulations, and accreditation standards
- Lead educational initiatives, training programs, and professional development opportunities for nursing staff
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans and improve clinical outcomes
- Support recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, and performance evaluations for nursing personnel
- Promote a positive work environment that encourages teamwork, accountability, and professional growth
Skills
- Strong expertise in strategic planning and organizational development within healthcare settings
- Proven management experience with a focus on staff supervision and personnel management in education or healthcare environments
- Knowledge of state-specific education laws applicable to nursing education and licensure requirements
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to inspire teams and foster a collaborative culture
- Experience in budget management, financial planning, and resource allocation in healthcare or educational institutions
- Demonstrated ability to provide instructional leadership and promote best practices in clinical education

- Background in university or higher education settings related to health sciences or nursing is highly desirable
