Family owned business located in rural Lemars Iowa seeks a full time Cnc programmer and setup for lathe and mill parts. Production consists of mostly brass parts.
Very competitive compensation based on experience. Work hours are 8a-5p Monday-Friday.
An idea candidate can analyzes drawings and sample parts and create machining programs (using CAD/CAM software) that efficiently achieves the part requirements. The candidate will work directly and along side the shop manager to ensure correct set up and machining of the part.
Required Experience: - Strong mechanical aptitude. - Experience with CNC lathes and mills. - Ability to read blue prints and drawings. - 1 or more years of CNC programming experience. - Knowledge of CAD/CAM software (i.e. Solidworks, Mastercam, Bobcad, Bobcam ect. ) - Experience using 3D modeling software (Solidworks preferred)'
