Lamberti USA, Inc. is seeking a full-time Quality Control Laboratory Technician. The ideal candidate must be safety-conscious, highly motivated, and a dependable self-starter.
Job Description:
· Analyze Production samples to ensure they meet desired specifications
· Make adjustments to production batches to reach desired specifications
· Profile waste samples as hazardous or nonhazardous through analytical testing
· Prepare small scale laboratory blends
· Conduct routine instrument maintenance and calibrations
· Maintain inventory of lab stocks and order lab supplies as needed
· Organize retain samples from production batches
· Maintain laboratory hygiene by keeping workspace clean and orderly
· Observe all pertinent lab/site safety regulations at all times
· Participate in site safety programs (which may include EHS program)
· Document testing results and other side experiments concisely
· Ship both hazardous and non-hazardous samples to prospective customers
· Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
· A basic familiarization with laboratory environment including basic glassware, measuring techniques, data recording, etc.
· Experience with various computer software in Windows environment including Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
· Previous SAP experience would be a bonus
· A contentious person who follows all safety regulations
· Good organizational skills – neatness in work
· Communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors
· Ability to communicate results through writing (ie: emails and technical reports)
· Professional attitude with the ability to communicate with a variety of personality types
· Able to follow basic instructions
· Critical thinker with good problem solving abilities
· Able to handle a flexible work schedule (day/night rotation with occasional Saturdays)
