Job Title: Occupational Therapist - Schools
Location: Aberdeen, WA
Setting: School-Based (Pre-K through 12, depending on assignment)
Pay Range: $50 - $55 per hour
Schedule: 35 hours/week (Monday–Friday – no weekends, no holidays, no call)
Contract Length: 42 Weeks
Candidate Type: Local and traveler friendly, Local candidates only – travel stipend not available; Traveler friendly – travel reimbursement available
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience as an OT
- Qualified applicants MUST have at least 1-2 years of experience in the school setting
- Qualified applicants MUST have a valid Occupational Therapist license
- Be willing to obtain Washington licensure

Responsibilities:
As a healthcare professional in a school setting, you will:
- Provide essential support and specialized care to students, including IEP meetings, direct therapy, and nursing care.
- Collaborate with school staff, therapists, and families to tailor services to each student’s needs.
- Treat students with communication disorders such as articulation, language, and fluency issues.
- Conduct speech and language evaluations.
- Write and implement goals and objectives for IEPs.
- Collaborate across a multi-disciplinary team and provide classroom support.
- Work with children in various classroom settings and provide additional services based on student needs.
