KP Staffing is currently seeking an experienced Powder Coating Painter for a metal manufacturing company in the Rockwall area. If you have a strong background in operating press brake machines and are looking to join a growing team, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Description
- Set up and operate powder coating equipment, including spray guns, booths, and conveyor systems
- Prepare parts for coating (cleaning, masking, staging)
- Perform color changes, including cleaning lines and switching materials
- Mix and measure powders, paints, and chemicals to required specifications
- Monitor and adjust oven settings to ensure proper curing
- Inspect finished parts for quality, coverage, and defects
- Monitor coating consistency, including flow and thickness
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment
- Conduct daily chemical testing and maintain proper balances
- Read work orders, prints, and use measuring tools to meet specifications
- Accurately track jobs and properly label finished parts
- Identify and report quality issues
- Follow all safety procedures and wear required PPE
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in powder coating, painting, or similar manufacturing role
- Experience with powder coat lines, spray guns, and color changes
- Ability to read prints and use basic measuring tools
- Knowledge of coating processes and surface preparation
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Physical & Work Environment
- Manufacturing/production environment
- Standing, bending, and lifting up to 55 lbs. regularly
- Exposure to powders, paints, and chemicals
- PPE required (respirator, gloves, eye protection, etc.)
