Account Director
BAYBERRY & CO is a Hampton, NH-based, privately held, client-focused build, design, and maintenance firm. We are currently looking for an Account Manager - Director of Fine Gardening to join our team.
This position would work closely with the owner to develop and expand Fine Gardening and Maintenance services offered by this firm to become a premier regional provider – Including but not limited to Seasonal Color Programs, Planting & Enhancements, Holiday, and General Site Management with occasional Field work.
Essential Functions:
- Lead all creative decisions, planning, site management, and buy out related to this division.
- Manage all Fine Gardening & Seasonal accounts - Become first point of contact for company representation and communication (Clients, Property Managers, & Vendors)
- Identify, propose and process upselling opportunities or work with development team for larger projects that come by way of managed client base.
- Coordinate, expand, and maintain vendor base directly related to this company division.
- Train, oversee, Fine Gardening team members to expand team related to division needs.
- Work with seasonal account team leaders to oversee scheduling of opening and closing properties. Combing of resources is typical during these periods. Mowing schedule once determined is rarely adjusted.
- Participate in site planting operations and tagging.
- Integrate and participate with other aspects of the company utilizing individual talents and skill set.
- Work with owner to develop position beyond the framework, maximizing one's potential and continued growth as a professional.
- Proven experience Microsoft Excel is required. LMN Software Preferred
Requirements:
- A degree in a related field preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in gardening maintenance with a focus on ornamental plants, including perennials and annuals.
- Fine Gardening, container, design, and maintenance experience desired.
- Interior planting design and maintenance experience desired.
- Holiday, seasonal color, and event decorating experience desired.
- Structural and aesthetic pruning experience a plus.
- Snow removal experience a plus.
- Team player and the desire to work on a wide range of projects required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
