Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner - Full Time
Location: Greenville, SC
Salary: $110,000–$130,000 annually (based on experience)
About the Position
Black Bear Primary Care is a well-established adult primary care practice in Greenville, South Carolina seeking an experienced PA or NP to join our team. In our small practice setting, you'll work closely with the practice physician with clear supervision and the clinical confidence to manage your own patient panels.
What You'll Do
- Provide comprehensive primary care for adults including routine exams, acute care, and chronic disease management
- Diagnose and treat common medical conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and laboratory results
- Prescribe medications and develop treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely records in our Elation EMR
- Collaborate with the practice physician for complex cases
- Educate patients on preventive care and health management
- Build and manage your own patient panel with an established referral base
Qualifications
- Current PA license (PA-C) or NP license (AANP or ANCC) in South Carolina (or eligible)
- DEA registration or eligibility
- ACLS and BLS certification
- Minimum 1–2 years clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with EMR systems. We use Elation, but training is available
