FASTECH is seeking a Mechanical Tube-fitter to fabricate and install tubing and mechanical systems on energy infrastructure projects. This includes high pressure gas, hydrogen, CNG, and specialty gas applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Fabricate, bend, and install tubing systems (stainless steel, copper, and alloy) for gas and mechanical applications.
- Install and test high-pressure and specialty-gas tubing, fittings, and compression connections.
- Perform tube cutting, deburring, flaring, and orbital TIG welding or fitting as required.
- Pressure leak test systems to spec and code; support commissioning.
- Read and interpret mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and isometrics.
- Follow all safety, environmental, and high-pressure-gas handling protocols.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 3+ years tube-fitting or mechanical fabrication, ideally in gas, hydrogen, or industrial systems.
- Experience with high-pressure tubing, compression fittings, and gas systems.
- Ability to read P&IDs and mechanical isometric drawings.
- Proficiency with tube tools; TIG orbital welding a strong plus.
- OSHA 10; valid driver's license; ability to lift 60+ lbs.
