Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/RVT/CVT) – New Graduates Welcome!
The Yancey Clinic of Veterinary Medicine is looking for a compassionate and motivated Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our growing team! Whether you're an experienced technician or a recent graduate beginning your career, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities
- Assist veterinarians with patient exams, treatments, and surgical procedures.
- Monitor anesthesia and patient recovery.
- Administer medications, vaccines, and treatments as directed.
- Collect laboratory samples and perform diagnostic testing.
- Obtain digital radiographs.
- Perform dental cleanings and assist with dental procedures.
- Educate clients on preventive care, medications, and treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide compassionate patient care and outstanding client service.
Qualifications
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited Veterinary Technology program.
- Licensed, Registered, or Certified Veterinary Technician (or eligible for licensure, where permitted by state law).
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience:
- Experienced technicians are encouraged to apply.
