Job Description for an Assistant Regional Manager
You will support the Regional Manager to assist with all aspects of a highly profitable Office, with plans in place for both immediate and long-term growth. The ideal candidate will have a history of outstanding Customer Service and will possess the ability to help grow market share quickly. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Ø Responsible for all aspects of the FSS, Inc. Safety Culture in the Region.
Ø The ideal candidate will be a licensed Pest Control professional with at least 1 year of commercial stored product pest knowledge, and understanding of general commercial pest management strategy.
Ø Holding an active Fumigation License is not an immediate requirement of the position but must be obtained in the first 90 Days using our excellent training program.
Ø Hold or in the first 90 days obtain a CDL with Haz-Mat endorsement to help transport or arrange the transportation of fumigant and materials needed for large-scale Fumigations.
Ø Create sustainable growth by providing safe, high-quality services in accordance with the FSS, Inc. ideology and all federal, state and local laws.
Ø Promote healthy growth by adding customers that fit the objectives and company focus on Dynamic IPM® and Fumigation.
Ø Collaborate with FSS, Inc. leadership to quickly develop the skills required to oversee all operational aspects of the Region.
Ø Collaborate with the Regional Dynamic IPM® Service Manager on all aspects pest control service and partner with Company Officers in other related areas.
Ø Assist with management of customer information, target lists and collaborate with Company Officers on sales objectives, site visits, proposals, account set-up and service.
Ø Lead by example every day, be creative, innovative and firm, but also fair and fun.
Ø Requires some travel, some weekends and some holidays. Holiday work is paid twice the hourly rate of pay - "double time" in addition to the standard 8 hours of holiday pay. FSS, Inc. employees call this "triple time" when working on a holiday.
Ø Represent the Region in meetings, training events, and trade shows as needed.
Ø Earn/Maintain all licenses required by the position.
- You are required to pass a Pre-Employment Background Check and Drug Screening.
- FSS, Inc. uses current Federal guidelines and not State laws when reviewing Pre-Employment Drug Screening results. This includes THC which will result in a failed drug screening. You will participate in the random drug screening program.

Additional Responsibilities of an Assistant Regional Manager
Ø Working well with others by leading a team of full-time pest control technicians reporting to you and the Regional Manager.
Ø Take a leading role in the Training and Development of all employees in the Region
Ø Partner with other Department Managers such as Human Resources, Safety and Compliance, Sales and Marketing, Shipping and Logistics, Corporate Inventory Manager and Dynamic IPM® leadership.
Ø Assisting in other areas of related business as requested.
Skills and Abilities

Ø Demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Ø Proficient in Word, Excel, and other basic computer programs and functions.
