Job Opportunity: Therapeutic Mentor
Availability Requirements: WEEKENDS (Friday - Sunday)
We are seeking dedicated individuals with open availability on weekends to work the following shifts:
- 1st Shift (8 AM - 4 PM)
- 2nd Shift (4 PM - 8AM)
Candidates MUST be available to work at least ONE 4 pm - 8 am shift and preference will be given to candidates with flexible availability Friday, Saturday, & Sunday. Please note that this part-time position has the potential to evolve into full-time opportunities.

Role Overview:
As a Therapeutic Mentor, you will work closely with adult clients in a tailored treatment setting in our one-to-one model, offering both emotional support and practical guidance. This role provides an opportunity to channel your passion for wellness and community into a fulfilling career. You will embody and promote healthy communication, engagement, and personal development, guiding clients as they navigate their journey of self-discovery and healing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a positive role model, demonstrating and teaching essential life skills
- Support clients through various life experiences and interests to enrich the clients' understanding and engagement
- Employ a non-judgmental and empathetic approach in all interactions
- Provide vigilant supervision and unwavering support to clients
- Acquire and uphold knowledge of program philosophies, policies, and procedures
- Communicate effectively with Program Supervisors regarding ideas, concerns, and feedback
- Maintain a professional demeanor in all interactions with clients and co-workers
- Adhere to assigned shifts and responsibilities as determined
- Utilize your personal vehicle to transport clients as needed
- Ensure certification in CPR and First Aid is current and maintained
- Submit summaries and paperwork from shifts in a timely manner
Qualifications and Skills:
We seek individuals who demonstrate creativity, compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to assist clients in leading healthier lives. Candidates must possess the ability to establish rapport while maintaining healthy boundaries. Essential attributes include a ability to work independently, possess a collective mindset, calmness under pressure, and the ability to work independently. Relevant experience in mental health, recreation, counseling, or teaching is advantageous.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of CPR and First Aid training
- Successful completion of a criminal background check
- A clean driving record and reliable personal vehicle
