Cafe de Olla, a warm and family-style Mexican-American restaurant in beautiful Old Town Monrovia, is looking for an energetic and friendly Host/Hostess to join our team! If you enjoy working in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment and love making people feel welcome, this job is for you.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat guests with a warm, welcoming attitude
- Manage reservations and coordinate seating with servers
- Communicate clearly with kitchen and front-of-house staff
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional host area
- Answer questions about the menu and restaurant
- Deliver exceptional service to ensure a positive guest experience
Qualifications
- Previous hosting or customer service experience required
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Must be available weekends and holidays
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
