This individual is the primary point of contact for patients and must be able to multi-task while maintaining a positive attitude.

Enter patient information into Electronic Medical Record.

Answer multiline phone system in a courteous manner.

Verify patient insurance benefits.

Maintain referral source appointments with feedback communication.

Strong customer service skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.

Medical insurance knowledge preferred.

Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a commitment for success.

Knowledgeable of medical terminology and general medical practice operations.

Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Basic office skills such as typing and operating phones.

High school diploma or equivalent.

At least 2 years of experience working in a medical office required.

At least 1 year of scheduling experience in a medical office desired.

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

This is an in-person position located in Thibodaux, LA. This is a full-time, non-exempt position. Schedule is Monday-Friday.
