We are particularly interested in therapists experienced in helping children and adolescents navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, ADHD, trauma, school-related difficulties, family transitions, social challenges, and emotional regulation. Play therapy training, family systems experience, and trauma-informed approaches are highly valued.
Job Summary
This position offers an exciting opportunity to provide outpatient mental health services within a supportive group practice environment. Clinicians will work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to each client's unique needs.
Special consideration will be given to therapists with experience or advanced training in:
- Child and adolescent therapy
- Play therapy
- Family therapy
- Trauma and PTSD treatment
- Parent coaching and behavioral interventions
- ADHD and executive functioning support
- Autism spectrum disorder and developmental disabilities
- Perinatal mental health
- Grief and loss counseling
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive intake assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing DSM and ICD-10 criteria
- Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy services
- Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based interventions
- Support children and families through behavioral, emotional, social, and developmental challenges
- Collaborate with parents, caregivers, schools, healthcare providers, and referral partners to coordinate care
- Implement crisis intervention and behavioral management strategies when clinically appropriate
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA and professional standards
- Provide telehealth services through secure HIPAA-compliant platforms
- Utilize treatment modalities including CBT, trauma-focused approaches, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, psychodynamic therapy, family systems therapy, and other specialty interventions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience providing therapy services in outpatient behavioral health settings
- Strong preference for clinicians with experience working with children, adolescents, and families
- Training in play therapy, parent-child interventions, behavioral therapy, trauma-informed care, or family counseling
- Experience supporting clients with ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, developmental disabilities, anxiety, depression, trauma, or behavioral concerns
- Familiarity with crisis intervention and behavioral health treatment planning
- Experience providing telehealth services
- Strong clinical documentation and organizational skills
- Commitment to professional growth and collaboration within a group practice setting
Requirements
Current fully independent Missouri licensure as one of the following:
- PhD or PsyD
- LCSW
- LMFT
- LPC/LCPC
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to maintain a caseload of 20+ hours per week
- Child and adolescent specialization strongly preferred
- Trauma-informed experience or training preferred
- Perinatal mental health experience or interest welcomed
