LPN / LVN – Long Term Care | Night Shift

Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $26.00/hour + $0.75 Night Shift Differential
Shift: Nights | 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM
Schedule: 2 days on / 2 days off / 3 days on
Hours: 84 hours per biweekly pay period

We are seeking a compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) to join the Long-Term Care team at The Lutheran Home at Kane. This is a great opportunity for both experienced LPNs and new graduate nurses who are passionate about providing quality care to elderly residents.
Job Responsibilities
- Administer and document medications and treatments
- Monitor residents and report changes in condition
- Assist with physician rounds, examinations, and treatments
- Update and maintain resident care plans
- Collect laboratory specimens and complete documentation
- Supervise and direct Nursing Assistants/CNAs
- Assist with staffing assignments and team coordination
- Complete incident reports and required documentation
- Monitor vital signs, weights, and resident needs
- Provide direct resident care as needed
- Assist with orientation and training of new nursing staff
- Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
Requirements
- Current Pennsylvania LPN/LVN License OR Temporary Work Permit
- BLS (AHA) certification required
