About the role
Compassionate Arms is a licensed home care agency serving Southeast Michigan across CMH, Michigan Home Help, Area Agencies on Aging, and dual-eligible managed care programs. We need a sharp, detail-driven analyst to own our EVV operations in HHAeXchange and keep our authorizations clean, current, and audit-ready.
This is the person who notices when a visit didn't confirm at 2:47 a.m., figures out why, and gets it fixed before billing goes out. If you like solving puzzles, working with systems and data, and helping caregivers do their jobs better, this is your seat.
What you'll do
- Monitor the HHAeXchange Call Dashboard daily for missed, unmatched, and exception visits, then resolve them through Visit Maintenance
- Upload and maintain client authorizations across CMH (MCCMH/OCHN), MI Home Help, AAA programs, and LTSS managed care plans (Aetna, Molina, UnitedHealthcare, WellCare/Meridian, HAP CareSource, Humana, Priority Health, AmeriHealth Caritas)
- Match schedules to authorizations so visits bill cleanly the first time
- Train caregivers one-on-one and in small groups on the HHAeXchange mobile app: clock-in, clock-out, GPS verification, and common error fixes
- Build and update internal SOPs, training materials, and quick-reference guides for EVV
- Track caregiver compliance scores and follow up with anyone falling below standard
- Pull weekly EVV compliance reports for leadership and flag trends or recurring issues
- Coordinate with payers and aggregators on EVV submission rejections
- Stay current on Michigan EVV rules, 21st Century Cures Act requirements, and payer-specific guidance
What we're looking for
- 2+ years in home care, home health, hospice, or a related healthcare compliance role
- Hands-on experience with HHAeXchange strongly preferred; experience with another EVV platform (Sandata, Tellus, CareBridge, AlayaCare) considered
- Solid working knowledge of Medicaid home and community-based services in Michigan
- Comfort with spreadsheets, dashboards, and reporting tools
- Strong written communication for emails to caregivers, payers, and case managers
- Ability to explain technical things to non-technical people without making them feel dumb
- Bilingual English/Arabic is a strong plus
- High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's preferred
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
