About ChainIT Pay
ChainIT Pay powers global payouts, verified identity, and secure document execution for businesses that move money and manage relationships across borders. Our platform connects every major U.S. payout rail and more than 50 international currencies, pairs it with blockchain-anchored identity verification (ChainIT ID and Org ID), and layers on Pactvera, our biometric, court-admissible document execution product. As ChainIT Pay scales its go-to-market efforts, we're looking for a Director of Marketing to build and lead the function from the ground up.
Position Summary
The Director of Marketing will own ChainIT Pay's marketing strategy and execution end-to-end — brand positioning, demand generation, product marketing, content, and partner/channel marketing. This is a highly cross-functional, builder-oriented role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-moving fintech environment, is comfortable translating complex payments and compliance concepts into clear market messaging, and can operate both strategically and hands-on. You will work closely with Sales, Product, Compliance, and Executive Leadership to drive pipeline, strengthen ChainIT Pay's market position, and support revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Brand
- Develop and own ChainIT Pay's overall marketing strategy, brand positioning, and go-to-market roadmap.
- Define and refine messaging across core product lines: global payouts, verified identity (ChainIT ID / Org ID), and Pactvera document execution.
- Ensure consistent brand voice and visual identity across all customer-facing materials, digital properties, and sales collateral.
Demand Generation & Growth
- Build and manage multi-channel demand generation programs (email, paid, SEO/SEM, webinars, events) to drive qualified pipeline.
- Own marketing KPIs including lead volume, conversion rates, cost per acquisition, and marketing-sourced/influenced revenue.
- Partner with Sales leadership on account-based marketing strategies for enterprise and platform partnerships.
Product & Content Marketing
- Translate technical product capabilities (FX, payout rails, KYC/KYB, digital asset payouts, e-signature) into clear, buyer-ready messaging and content.
- Own the creation of pricing proposals, case studies, one-pagers, decks, and website content in partnership with Sales and Product teams.
- Lead competitive positioning and market research to keep messaging sharp against other payments, identity, and document-execution providers.
Partnerships & Channel Marketing
- Develop co-marketing programs with banking, fintech, and technology partners.
- Support conference, sponsorship, and industry event strategy to build ChainIT Pay's presence in the payments and compliance space.
Team & Operations
- Build out the marketing function over time, including hiring and managing specialists, contractors, and agency partners as budget allows.
- Manage the marketing budget and vendor relationships, ensuring efficient allocation of spend against pipeline and brand goals.
- Establish reporting and analytics practices to track marketing performance and inform executive decision-making.
Qualifications
Required
- 7+ years of progressive marketing experience, including at least 2–3 years in a leadership role owning marketing strategy and execution.
- Experience marketing in fintech, payments, compliance/regtech, or other B2B financial services or SaaS environments.
- Demonstrated success building and running demand generation programs that drove measurable pipeline and revenue impact.
- Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to make complex, technical, or regulated products understandable to non-technical buyers.
- Comfort operating in a lean, fast-paced environment — equally capable of high-level strategy and hands-on execution.
- Experience partnering closely with Sales and Product teams in a B2B, multi-stakeholder sales motion.
Preferred
- Experience marketing payments, cross-border payouts, digital identity/KYC, or e-signature/document execution products specifically.
- Familiarity with enterprise and partnership-driven go-to-market motions.
- Experience managing marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo).
- Prior experience marketing to banks, credit unions, marketplaces, gig-economy platforms, or other payout-heavy industries.
What Success Looks Like
- A clear, differentiated brand and message architecture across ChainIT Pay's product lines within the first 90 days.
- A functioning demand generation engine delivering consistent, qualified pipeline within the first two quarters.
- Sales enablement materials (pricing proposals, one-pagers, case studies) that reduce friction in the sales cycle.
- A scalable marketing operating rhythm — reporting, budget management, and team structure — that supports continued growth.
