Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Routine Foot Care
Indiana Foot & Ankle is looking for a compassionate and dependable Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. In this role, you will provide routine foot care services in a professional, patient-centered environment while working closely with our podiatry team. We are seeking someone who is friendly, organized, and committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
Responsibilities
- Provide routine foot care services under established protocols and the direction and supervision of a podiatrist.
- Assess and evaluate patients' foot health and accurately document findings in the electronic medical record.
- Provide nail trimming, callus care, and other routine foot care services as appropriate.
- Educate patients on proper foot care, hygiene, and preventative care.
- Monitor patients for signs of infection, circulation concerns, skin breakdown, or other abnormalities and communicate findings appropriately to the podiatrist.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment area.
- Build positive relationships with patients while providing compassionate, respectful care.
- Collaborate with the podiatrist and other team members to ensure excellent patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Indiana.
- Strong clinical assessment and communication skills.
- Excellent bedside manner with a focus on patient education.
- Ability to work independently while following established protocols and physician direction.
- Compassionate, dependable, and detail-oriented.
- Experience in podiatry, routine foot care, wound care, geriatrics, or outpatient care is preferred but not required.
