Eastern Metal Framing seeks a motivated, dynamic professional to work as our Technical Services Engineer.
Responsibilities:
- Provide size and gauge and engineering solutions to customers.
- Coordinate engineering services, including maintaining relationships with engineering firms, quoting engineering, tracking engineering sales and ensuring jobs are billed
- Spearhead company activity in CFSEI
- Participate in trade shows.
- Coordinate product testing for sound, fire, limiting heights, etc.
- Verify technical data, including structural properties, load tables and limiting heights for all products.
- Verify compliance with current building codes.
- Participate in product development.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of company products, specifications and building practices
- Comprehensive understanding of competitive products
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering and a PE License
- Engineering experience with cold formed steel
- Knowledge of building codes, standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Extraordinary customer service skills
