We deliver and pick-up all across Central New York including Residential, Commercial, Airports, and Military Bases.
Full Job Description
The Driver's Helper / Assistant shares all the responsibility of the Driver except for driving the truck and the driver's safety inspection. The Helper must work with the Delivery Driver as if they were a TEAM.
A daily routine would consist of:
- Helping load your truck in the morning with use of dollies and pallet jacks
- Calling customer's with delivery windows (company cell phone provided)
- Assist your driver in all deliveries and pickups from "drop and goes" to white glove deliveries which involves assembly. Deliveries are Large Parcel (Sofas, Mattresses, Appliances, etc.)
- Empty your truck of any garbage at the end of the shift
